ProBat is being further developed by us.
The public procurement procedure has been completed and we have been awarded the contract for the further development of ProBat. As with ProBat 7, the further development will be funded by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) and coordinated by the Naturstiftung David.
A major focus of the further development will be to convert ProBat into an online database, which will enable different data access for different users. In addition, the software will be further optimized and other new features implemented. For example, new requirements resulting from the amendments to the BNatSchG will also be integrated.
Further development should be completed by the end of 2026. We will of course provide information about this on our homepage!
